As a user who has the chance to use almost all of the teleconference tool since 2001, WebEx, Hangout, Skype, Zoom, you name it, the real choice we have is the combination of the feature and easy to use, with reliable enough security, I agree with you that Zoom screws up recently, but at least they take it very seriously and did what they can to improve, for some of the old tools (like WebEx, Skype), how often do you see they release a new version, and do you really believe those newcomers are doing a much better job, I doubt it. So stick with some tool which has most of the pro, and see how they get rid of the con is the right strategy for most of the business user, for the personal user (refer to the free user), it is a no-brain, stick with it, Zoom still has the best combination of everything, despite the recent mess.
